Dr. Aziza Glass is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduate from Cornell University.   Dr. Glass was born in Houston, Texas, where for years she nurtured her love of animals by watching television documentaries and performing her own animal behavior experiments. She is the expert veterinarian for Freshpet Foods, one of the fastest growing pet food companies, dedicated to educating and promoting healthy diet and lifestyles for our pets.

Dr. Glass graduated from Prairie View A&M University, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a concentration in animal science. She enjoys leisure reading, playing golf, and spending time with her close friends and family. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, and the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Glass is the owner of CAWLM Veterinary Hospital + Spa where she focuses on integrative medicine with an emphasis on acupuncture and other alternative modalities. She obtained her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) from the world renown Chi Institute.  She’s recently been named one of Vet Candy’s 2025 Veterinary Game Changers

Previously, Dr. Glass was seen on NatGeoWild's "Vet School" television docu-series. She was also featured as a television news contributor on Live With Kelly and Ryan, Good Morning America, The Today Show, ABC, NBC, and FOX morning news as well as in numerous publications including Southern Living Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Veterinary Practice News, and The New York Times.
